ZFPC is committed to renewable energy. Currently, it operates a photovoltaic solar system installed on the roof of its administrative building and common areas, generating 167.10 MWh/year, mitigating 68.76 tons of CO2 annually, and achieving a 23% reduction in energy costs.
Additionally, ZFPC plans to install a 2.8 MW floating photovoltaic solar plant in its 16,000 m² rainwater lagoon. This plant will generate 4.6 GWh/year and mitigate 760 tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to planting 53,000 trees. The total estimated investment for this project is USD 2.5 million.
