Batamindo Industrial Park has conducted a Workshop on Hydroponic Techniques & Mushroom Cultivation to empower local communities, ensuring sustainable development.By providing knowledge and practical skills, this initiative contributes to economic growth within the community, fostering self-sufficiency and long-term financial benefits.
PT Batamindo has installed PV solar power systems on the rooftops of its powerhouse and most of the tenants’ buildings. After the success of the pilot 472-kWp PV system on its powerhouse building, the park will continue installing PV systems on the tenants’ rooftops with a total capacity of more than 7 MWp for phase 1 starting in 2023. The installation of phase-2 solar panel systems will continue in 2025.
PT Batamindo has 40 ha of green areas with more than 7,500 trees from more than 50 types, including birdattractive trees. In 2021, 33 kinds of birds were sighted in the area. The green area in Batamindo Industrial Park is also a habitat for mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.
Batamindo’s Park Management has implemented a Customer Service Online System (CSOS) to facilitate grievance management for tenant companies. The CSOS is available on the park’s official website.
The Batamindo Industrial Park scored 58% against the performance benchmarks of the international EIP framework in 2024. The performance is expected to increase to 87% by the end of the program.
