The Bogotá Free Trade Zone is a dedicated zone to promote international trade with 67 hectares area and 357 tenant companies. Among these, 185 operate under the free trade regime, while the remainder 175 companies provide support services. With a 95% occupancy rate, the Bogotá Free Trade Zone has established itself as a benchmark in the industrial and logistics sector, standing out for its diversity of industries and 29 productive subsectors, including:
Logistics: Transportation, warehousing, cargo handling, and courier services.
Services: Encompasses consulting and outsourced services such as BPO, ITO, KPO, and SSC.
Commerce: Covers wholesale and retail trade of diverse products.
Manufacturing: Involves industries like textiles, plastics, pharmaceuticals, equipment and machinery, and technology, among others.
Data Centers: Provide infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) solutions.
ZFB has a robust social infrastructure that benefits both its internal and external communities. Examples of this infrastructure include minimarkets, food courts, wellness services, bike parking, medical services, stationery stores, training centers, internal transportation, financial services, and more. To optimize these services and social infrastructure, the administration conducted satisfaction surveys. On average, satisfaction reached 88%, demonstrating ZFB’s commitment to providing adequate social services for its community. In total, it is estimated that more than 100,000 people per year utilize the social infrastructure.
